You’re not crazy, and it’s actually quite simple to serve white wine – take it out of the fridge 15 minutes before serving. And I’ve had waaaay too many red wines served at room temperature that don’t show that well.
Your theory also incorporates the not spoken about concept that many white wines show nuance and subtlety, minerality, and complexity of aromatics that many red wines show less of, but you have to stick your nose in the glass and pay attention. The good thing about Pinot Noir catching on is that there are more aromatics and complexity to show than those big honkin’ reds that just obliterate your taste buds.

My friend and I were recently discussing about the ubiquitousness of technology in our daily lives. Reading this post makes me think back to that debate we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.I don’t mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside… I just hope that as memory becomes cheaper, the possibility of copying our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality.
